About Us

Kara Johnson is based in Chicagoland. Originally studied in the healing arts she discovered she enjoyed business and numbers.  She has over 15 years of corporate accounting experience including with CPA firms, corporate and small businesses. Countless mentors and a passion to continue learning and finding new benefit avenues for her clients. Kara specializes with retailers but has also worked with an array industries including service-based, non-profit restaurant, therapists, construction and property management. 

When not with clients, she loves to hike, garden and spend time with family!
